Obaron (obaron.ai) provides AI readiness audits for websites. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Free lightning scan
When you use our free scan, we collect:
- The domain you submit — we fetch your site's homepage to analyze it
- Your IP address — for rate limiting only, not stored long-term
- Scan results — score, grade, category breakdown, detected issues
Scan results are cached for 30 days to speed up repeat scans, then automatically deleted. Aggregate analytics (domain, score, timestamp) are retained permanently to improve our service.
Site analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic traffic data (page views, referrers, countries). Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal data.
What we don't collect
- We don't use cookies
- We don't require an account to use the free scan
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties
- We don't track you across other websites
How we use your data
- To generate and deliver your scan results
- To prevent abuse (rate limiting)
- To improve our scanning accuracy and service quality
Where your data is stored
The Obaron website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Scan processing runs on a dedicated server in Germany (Hetzner). All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Data retention
- Scan cache: 30 days (auto-deleted)
- Aggregate analytics: indefinite (no personal data)
- Server logs: 14 days
Your rights
You can request deletion of any scan data associated with your domain. Contact us at hi@obaron.ai and we'll process your request within 7 days.
Changes
We may update this policy as we add new features (such as paid audits and email collection). Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
